Keilaniemi District Parking Facility

The Keilaniemi District Parking Facility is an underground parking facility, unique in its size and scope of services. It enables the area to develop into a versatile district, with pedestrian traffic at its core.

After completion, the parking facility will offer effortless parking services to all users of the area: residents, companies, property owners and visitors.

The Keilaniemi District Parking Facility offers a versatile selection of parking services for short- and long-term needs. Of the 1,900 parking spaces, at least 800 will be equipped with charging capability. Furthermore, there are parking spaces to meet the requirements of the city plan, as well as civilian defense shelter spaces, available for property owners.

The Keilaniemi District Parking Facility will become the most advanced parking facility in Finland and a trendsetter for regional parking facilities. As proof of its progressiveness, the Keilaniemi District Parking Facility will be the first parking facility in Finland to apply for the Parksmart certificate.

Valokeila

Valokeila, to be built on top of the Jokeri Light Rail terminus, will be a hybrid of office and service construction. The building will strengthen the development of Keilaniemi into an architecturally diverse and progressive area.

The Valokeila project includes two office towers and a hotel tower. Valokeilan aukio, the square that connects the three buildings, will be built on top of the Jokeri Light Rail terminus. In addition to the connection to the Jokeri Light Rail terminus, the square offers direct access to the metro station, the Keilaniemi District Parking Facility and the walking and cycling routes in the Keilaniemi area.

The project aims at the highest LEED Platinum certificate, which underlines the project’s advanced environmental friendliness and energy efficiency.
